In the year that I’ve been training with her I’ve made so much more progress than I thought would be possible - both in terms of how much I’m lifting and the muscle mass that I’ve put on (which hasn’t gone unnoticed with friends and family).
Training with Emily is really enjoyable. She’s always positive and encouraging, and gives great advice on technique and nutrition. I still do some workouts on my own but have been much more consistent with these thanks to the added accountability of tracking them with Emily. She leaves comments on my sessions so I know she’s keeping an eye on how I’m getting on even when I’m not in the gym with her. Working out is now an important part of my day-to-day life and I feel all the better for it physically and mentally.

Emily has tailored exercises specifically to my fitness and weight goals, as well as improving my running performance. I’ve stayed totally injury-free whilst having my twice-weekly sessions and my running has become considerably faster!
Emily manages to make the sessions fun as well as challenging; I’m noticeably healthier, fitter and happier as a result. Emily’s level of service goes beyond the gym - focusing on outdoor running performance (and in my case valuable advice on reducing heart rate!) and nutrition. “Emily is the first personal trainer I ever worked with, but I still don’t think I’m biased when I say she’s the absolute best.
I started training with her nearly 3 years ago because I wanted to look after my body again after years of ignoring it, with a focus on getting stronger and slimming down.
